How to get subtitles to work on my 360?

Hi!

I got at problem! I cant get the subtitles to work when i play .avi movies from my usb-memory.

I have put the .avi file and the subtitle file in the same map, but when i fire up the movie and go to subtitles it says "Action no available, and I have named both files the same name:S

And still it doesnt work:/

PLEASE HELP ME!

i have the same prob.

there is no way to show the subtitles on xbox without hardocding the subs in yourself, ie. converting to wmv.

i have heard of a program called tversity that is supposed to do it.

i havent used it myself, but have read it does the job - am currently investigating it myself.
