Not sure if this is in the right forum but here we go. I'm looking for a way to record gameplay from my Xbox360 to create montages. I don't have enough money for a graphics card, so I need another way, other than throwing a camera and tripod in front of the TV and hitting "record". Is there any way to stream the video from my Xbox to my computer? I have Hypercam so I would be able to record it that way. I'm not very good with computers and stuff like this, so basically I just need a relativly cheap and easy way to record my gameplay from the Xbox360. Please help.

I suggest the Dazzle DVC 80 capture card. It's about $70 and it's high quality.

Buy a camcorder that can record directly off a tv. There are camcorders that record directly from the tv while hooked up to it. Aiptek is one of the companies that have that camera. I saw one in Target that does that ranged around $100-150. Try that if you have the money.

I have a Canon FS100 camcorder, is that something this camcorder does?

Dazzle is cheaper. Get a nice camcorder if you can afford it. Both options work perfectly though. Only problem is finding a place that uploads in HD or just a decent quailty. Youtube always looks so bad.

Yeah, youtube sucks because I see games in HD look pretty bad for some reason.

You could just hook the components to a VCR, If those still even exist and / or you could get a TV tuner for your PC

Look For One Here if Interested www.newegg.com ... only thing is you may experience video lag when playing through a tv tuner
