How to recover a live gamertag onto a normal 360 profile. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

Hi before i got my 360 online i decided to create my gamertag thru my pc and when i went to recover it it didnt give me the option to recover it onto another local non live profile the one with all my achievements. so how do i recover my gamertag onto my profile? Thanks

bugger... thanks for the help anyways but one last thing is it possible to at least play my old save files?

I don't think so. Saves are linked to your account, and I don't think you can transfer them between accounts.
