I've given up on Halo and about to give up on Gears. Words can't describe how much these communities fail and BC2 is the only multiplayer game that even looks remotely good. I'm not buying anymore multiplayer games unless the community is good though.

That seems to be the theme for the XBL community as a whole. I only play multiplayer with friends because of it.

BFBC as well as BF1943 (arcade) both had fairly good communities and Im sure BFBC 2 will have one as well. It seems to be more mature people playing these games rather than the riff raff from Run n Gun games. There are the occasional Support A Holes who dont wanna give up their health packs/realize when someone has a giant + over their heads they need health. Ive met quite a few cool funny people from BF, moreso than I do any other game save for Vegas/2

I think bad company STILL has a great community. Never have I come across anyone abusive. You get a few people who like to camp out helicopter and tank spawn positions and thus a bit of competition for them but other than that its fine :p

For me, not only did BF:BC have a great community, it was one of my favorite multiplayer experiences! As mentioned, there are people who don't give healthpacks, or snipers who don't utizlied their motion detectors, but the game still has a lot of mature people playing.

It's good. It's just that people don't seem to talk much when I played.

Rainbow Six Vegas had the best community IMO.

Bad Company's isn't too bad unless you have the howitzer, then people tk for it. If you want a really good community I recommend Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

I played a game the other day when someone had glitched/hacked the howitzer, he was able to shoot all at us on all five sections of the map.

Communities are generally good if there aren't any little kids or Imbeciles who think they're "1337".

Legit no one talks in Bad Company though, if they do something along the lines of MW2, which I hope they do, it can have a very solid community. More complex games tend to have a older, more mature community. And it definitely isn't a game you can just pick up and own at. Not to toot my own horn, but I've been good in almost every FPS I've played, but BC gives me a huge challenge, harder than R6: V2 and Ghost Recon. You can find it for like 10 bucks now, why not try it out?

I Pray to God that since MW2 is an "M" (Although that hasn't stopped 12 year olds so far) a bunch of little kids do not purchase it. I cannot describe the disdain I have for these kids. High-Pitched voices, High-Pitched Trash Talking, High-Pitched Team Killing, and above all, High-Pitched Glitching.

For me the Bad Company community is anything other than bad! you still get the odd trash talker but for the most part everyone is there to just have fun and play the game. Definetly better than some of the morons on Gears and COD4.

Bad Company actually had a pretty good community. One of the best online communities i've seen on xbox live actually. I'm going to miss that when im playing MW2 with all the immature people out there.

If CoD4 was any indication (seeing as it also sported an M rating), then you're out of luck.
