I've heard it freezes pretty frequently. How bad is it?

It ran horribly for me. Extreme framerate issues, sound cut off frequently, freeze issues, basically it was next to impossibly to play. I started a battle, screen froze for around 5 seconds and then the battle was over, skipped through everything. I can't say for sure that this is still the case since I played it well over a year ago on the 360, but if they didn't patch it then don't bother.

I found it quite fine for the 5 hours I played... Maybe it completely depends on your disc...
What do you mean by 5 hours? For me at some points it would bog down real slow. And some other times the sound effects would stop working. It's still playable though.I've heard it freezes pretty frequently. How bad is it?

I beat the entire game on my 360, and it ran fine except for two times. One time the sound just went out entirely until I rebooted my xbox. The other time it just froze.
I recently popped in my Kotor2 disc in my 360. I have an HD wide screen, and I found the cropped screen and frame rate choppy. It also froze on me two or three times.
My advice? Keep your old XBOX to play XBOX games. The real big hit against the 360 is that despite being backwards compatible, some of the better titles (like KOTOR) don't work well or even work at all.
Well this sucks. I guess I'll just get it on PC...I recently popped in my Kotor2 disc in my 360. I have an HD wide screen, and I found the cropped screen and frame rate choppy. It also froze on me two or three times.

Both KoToR Games are totally playable but as stated, there are Framerate issues on the 360, but its still fully playable. I went through them both no problem. If the combat wasn't slowpaced with timers it probably wouldn't be playable but sinse your always pausing and selecting commands its pretty easy to get by the framerate faults the emulation has.
i played KOTOR2 on my 360 for about 4 hours, but the whole time all i could think about was how much BETTER mass effect was, so i stopped playign KOTOR2 and started upa new ME game. btw i am now 31 hours through dragon age adn loving it. got it 4 weeks ago!
Bad framerate and occasionally the sound effects will cease but nothing that prevented me from playing the game.

Same. Not unplayable, but I wasn't able to enjoy it quite like I wanted to.
As someone who played both games to death on the PC before it broke down,I was quite dissapointed about how they operated on the 360. Especially a lot of sounds issues, really annoying.
It's still playable, butI prefer the Mass Effect and Dragon Age game(s), because of these issues. Too bad, because thestorylines of both KotORs were great!
