I have the opportunity to get Burnout Paradise for about $15, just wondering for those who have played it, is it worth it? Good game, worth the money? Thanks.

Well it's a very repetative game. Beat this race, beat that race, do this stunt run, do that stunt run. There is practically no customization in the game, except you can pick your car's color. There are a lot of cars to choose from though, even though to me they feel like they all go just as fast as one another. The map is huge and you have to drive to every race location, it's cool at first, but after awhile gets to be way to rediculous. If you lose a race, you have to drive back all the way to the beginning, there's no restarting races either. The controls are alright I suppose and it's fun to play with friends. $15 isn't that much, I say just buy it. If you think about it, two rentals of that game will cost more than the price you'll be getting it for, so just buy it. At least that's how it is at Hollywood Video where it's $8 a game rental.

you can't complain about BP being repetitive for RACING in a RACING game.  anyways, my only complaint is about having to drive around the map to activate events, other than that it's more intense than just about any other racing game, and compared to others, it's more origanal than most

I agree with phil, in a race you choose your own route making it easy to crash and easier to go the wrong way or a long way. I prefered burnout 3 with set tracks to race on, i dont know about burnout revenge as I have never played it.

I am not into racing games but I decided to rent it cuz my bro thought I should rent a racing game. Once I started playing it I couldnt stop! The controls are nice, graphics great, slo-mo crashes look incredible, huge map, fun races (especially when making your own route, it makes it more challenging), stunt runs are fun.

15 BUCKS?!?!?! GET IT!

Hmmm, it's pretty fun with friends, if none of your friends have it I don't recommend you getting it, but if yo're into it go for it:)

or customization, u dont need to customize cars that crash into stuff. not like its forza its burn out its meant to be arcadey and not a serious racer
