Same as topic. I played the demo and felt it was decent, not jaw dropping but decent. Worth the money or should I wait?

I borrowed it from a friend and i actually enjoyed the gameplay. IMO the story was pretty weak though. Not sure how much the game is now but i would say its a game you would want to wait for it to come down in price....
Ehh, it was decent. I liked Kingdom of Amalur better. I hate that there isn't any fast travel and your character is slow and runs out of stanima fast, so a big portion of the game is just running around.
And be careful, your character could turn out to be gay without you even knowing it. Seriously, My brother was playing through, and the blacksmith laid him down by the fire and molested him without any hint of the impending gayness anywhere. It just happened through the story.

I might look into Kingdoms of Amalur, its cheaper and looks decent. I jsut want a fantacy RPG. Ive been playing so many modern/ futuristic games. I want a game I can just forget about reality for a bit.

Ya KoA is good, but there is a cap on your character level. I think its 40sih, but if I remember correctly, there is a way to redo any perk points and what not so you can customize your character to your liking.Other honorable mentions: Tales of Vesperia, The Witcher 2, Lost Odyssey (my favorite rpg), Dark Messiah.
LOL Oh Dude ! Thats F#ckin Hilarious !Ehh, it was decent. I liked Kingdom of Amalur better. I hate that there isn't any fast travel and your character is slow and runs out of stanima fast, so a big portion of the game is just running around.

While dragons dogma really has nothing on the souls games, it's way better than KoA. I picked up DD for $40 and put almost 100 hours into the game, paid the same for KoA and had to force myself to play, it's very boring, sold it after about 20 hours. DD is still pretty pricey because its a great game, not a lot of used copies either.
The full game is also a lot better than the demo. No fast travel is a pain but the world isn't even that big.

Nope, it's becauseyour brother kept giving him gifts, otherwise no characters show affinity towards you, at all, ever. Perhaps he wanted it that way?
If this is actually real.... this might have to go in my Top Ten WTF Moments XD. On a side note, I've always wondered about Dragon's Dogma. In a way, it reminded me of Dark Souls.Ehh, it was decent. Well maybe the game should have explained "affinity". Normally giving gifts could help the blacksmith prices or maybe you could get a free weapon every now and then.......but gayness? That shouldn't even be in the game if they don't explain what leads to the blacksmith molesting you by the fireplace on a bearskin run. I find your post ridiculous. Please Log In to post.
