The danger with getting your age checked on this game is that if the cashier refuses to sell it to you, they are still certain to sell that copy the same day because of demand.
If in doubt go with someone old enough, or get the next person in the line to buy your copy as well, then give them the cash.
My cousin lives in Ohio and shes twenty and she needs to be checked everytime she buys an "M" rated game she needs to get checked... So if you're lucky you may get someone who may not check... Really, it all depends on the person.To_AshesI have a friend and about 2 years ago at Target he got Id for a game and the best part was he was 32 at the time.
Legally, are you supposed to be able. No.....
Will you be able to? If you look over 18, they won't care, so yes.
The North American rating for "M" is 17+, which means you can legally purchase the game no-questions-asked. But, if you look young, I recommend you bring your driver's license or something just in case they need proof.Aaron89
yea make sure it has your pic and your b-day on it otherwise they may hassle you.
Down here in Florida some places ID you. cjgangsta
yea im in FL too, and some gamestops can be a pain about it. but then again its there job and i used to work for gamestop and the managers are always uptight about age restrictions because they can lose their jobs. nothing worse then seeing a fellow gamer thats only a few months away from buying a "M" rated game and you have to turn them away.
You guys actually buy games from stores?mmogoon
Yeah, gotta support the companies who put the games out

I wouldn't feel bad about it. I would just tell them to either order it online to not deal with the age restrictions, or have their parents come in with them. The law is the law man.

Nice joke that's not even funny.
ya its funny just because people are being stupid in this forum, they will check i.d for this game, if your not old enought they wont sell it to you unless you go to some sketchy place that doesnt check id (cant think of any place that wouldnt)
or get your older brother or someone to buy it for you, end of story
What you do is, if you're under 17, bring the game to the cashier and see if they call you on the 17 thing. If they do, say "Oops, didn't notice, then look around for a bit more, and leave. Upon exiting the store, proceed to take a dump on the guy's car, house, and girlfriend.
