I am in a huge dilemma... Halo 3 vs. COD4 vs. Orange Box vs. Bioshock

Halo 3 vs. COD4 vs. Orange Box vs. Bioshock

I'm looking for the one that has the best balance between single and muiltplayer modes.

WHICH ONE SHOULD I GET

BioShock seems like its focused way more on story than shooting. CoD4 seems like Halo, but more tactical. Orange Box seems like Halo, with a more serious story and ALOT of variety. Halo 3 is straight up shooting, kill or be killed.

What are you looking for? Those 3 games are in the same genre, but they aren't really similar.

Bioshock or Call of Duty 4.

I havent played the orange box but i have played the other three

Bioshock - I just couldnt get into it played it a bit but i give up after an hour just not my type of game.

Halo 3 - I played it for 2 days and havent played it since i gotbored of it very quick.

COD4 - By far my favourite game on the 360 im forcing myself to not play it at the moment because it was taking over my life its just so much fun.

Really give Mass Effect a go mutated,

problem with rentals is, scratches ruin gameplay,

try as engineer, seriously, you'll love how deep it truely is.

if you have xbox live and like to play online then COD4 is the best choice if not then i would go with bioshock

I've been thinking about those two as well. The story of BioShock seems interesting. I don't really like tactical shooters, but i've heard so much on the net, reviews and friends. I might give it a shot when its like $30 something on amazon.

BioShock is single player only, but it has a fantastic story. It truly is one of the greatest games I've ever played.

You can't go wrong with the Orange Box. It has plenty of multiplayer, and the single player stories for Half-Life 2 are great. This is your best bet. It has the most gameplayoptions andreplayability out of all your choices.

CoD 4 has a short single player, but it is a good story. The multiplayer is great.

Halo 3 is fun but I grew bored with it relatively quickly.

Seriously jokes put aside. Here is my experience and opinion about these games.

Cod4 had a great campaign but for some reason I couldn't wait for it to end. Hmm maybe so I can play the multiplayer?

Halo 3 had an awsome campaign that I didn't want to end but the multiplayer did get boring for me. Maybe it will be funner with the new maps and if I get drunk.

I played through Bioshock twice and it was awsome, the graphics were unreal and an eye opening game. A wow.

The orange box was epic. The half life games were so good and the replayability of those games are great also if you wanna go do achievements that you missed the first time around. Just pick a chapter any chapter. Portal was a fun puzzle game. Didn't get much into tf2.

Pretty much cod4 and halo 3 for multiplayer. Bioshock and The orange box for singleplayer.

I have played all four games so here are my opinions on them...

Orange Box - If you want to play a bunch of old games and multiplayer that doesn't come close to COD4 or Halo 3 get this game. There are hours of game play here, just not as good as the other three games you are looking at.

Bioshock - GREAT single player mode, but it's over fast and no multiplayer.

Halo 3 - Solid Campaign and Multiplayer mode. I love Halo and played the heck out of the first two which is probably why I am so sick of Halo 3.

COD4 - This is what I would go for if I were you. Campaign mode is great, lots of variety. Multiplayer was a massively pleasant surprise to me. I rented this game to see what it is like and now I own it. That rarely happens. Haven't played Halo 3 ever since I bought this one either.

Bioshock = doesn't even have multiplayer, however the single player is great. Once through, though. No real replay value.

Halo 3 = Incredibly weak single player, and some fun multiplayer. Gets old though.

COD4 = Incredible single and multi.

Orange Box = Ultimate single and multi.

Rent Halo 3 and Bioshock, buy Orange Box and COD4.

My overall suggestion? Orange Box. 5 amazing games in one you cannot ever go wrong with.

But wouldn't it be cool if it did? what kinda splicer would you be..ok nevermind we'll stick to it being a great single player game. :) I heard bioshock 2 is gonna have multiplayer though. I don't remember where I heard it from.lol.

Yea I love Bioshock's multiplayer. The game modes are amazing, so much fun!
