I am in need of money to buy a XBOX 360 any IDEAS?!?!?!

I am planning to get a 360 for 200$ (Arcade) with GTA IV +30$ Headset +20-30$ my friends giving me 3 months of Xbox live so i have that covered.

IVE TRIED COLLECTING ALLUMINUM CANS/DOG WALKING/ BABY SITTING/ AND NOW IM REDUCED TO SELLING THINGS ON CRAIGSLIST WHICH IS WHAT MY DAD DOESNT LIKE CAUSE I SOKLD MY NINTENDO DS RECENTLY AND THEY LIVED LIKE 2 CITYS AWAY APROXIMATELY 30-60 MINUTES RIGHT? WELL THEY TOOK 4 HOURS... AND MY DAD DOESNT LIKE PEOPLE GOING TO OUR HOUSE.. SO I ONLY GOT 100 BUCKS... AND I REALLY NEED A 360 ... AND ONE MORE QUESTION..

Well I don't know how your family operates, but when I was your age, I wasn't given handouts either, so I would have to wait for a birthday or Christmas if I wanted anything, so I would just wait. I got a crappy allowance for doing chores, and I sucked at saving money. As soon as you turn 15 work for McDonalds.

You can get a job at 14. You can only work like 8 hours a week, but you can get one.

I think you'll regret selling stuff on Craigslist. If you're already on the site you could look up and see if anyone needs odd jobs done. When I was a kid I did yardwork for a chiropractors office that was near my house. They'd have me pull weeds, mow the lawn, whatever for a few hours on Saturdays and give me a 20. Old women always need things done. I've gotten to a point in my life where I just help them out for free because it's the right thing to do, but I imagine they'd give a kid a few dollars to help them out. That and widows can get really lonely so they just like to have someone around even if it's to plant their flowers.

Sell your body to fat people or seniors, they'll definetly shell out some money for a good time. Or just start a sweat shop in ur basement with stray orphans or chimpsUn4givingAsault

at fourteen, Im sure on the proper streets, people would be MORE than willing to give you money. Well, you might have to work a little bit on something hard.... People are always willing to pay for something that is illegal in almost all 50 states, 14 is age of consent in hawaii and idaho. If your willing to monica lewinsky some 50 year old fat dude, Im sure he will buy you an xbox.

Or, read books, study hard, get good grades, do good in school so you can make alot of money and buy all your own toys when your old enough.

I'd either ask (beg) your parents for it for xmas and then tell them you'll give them the money you have towards it if you have to, and you'll earn any extra that they'd want you to pay back.

Also you could use your 100 dollars and turn it into more if you're smart with it. I've looked for deals on the internet and then turned around and resold whatever it is for a profit. Sometimes it isn't much and sometimes you can find some really good deals but that's one other option anyway.

If you are going to sell stuff. make it clear that there is no pickups. that way no one can come to your house. then just try to get more odd jobs.

First off. You WANT an X360. You dont NEED one. Got it? You'll be just fine, and world will keep on spining if you dont have one. When I was 14 my parents were broke & couldn't by me ****. It sucked, but thats the hand I was dealt.

Now I make more money than both of them combined. Do you know why? Because I WORKED. I found a job rolling newspapers in plastic at 3 o'clock in the morning to buy ****. I didnt sell stuff that my parents bought me that I had no right to sell, wait for christmas or beg for pocket money.

You want something in this world you have to go out there and ****** get it! If you want money, you have to provide a service in return...simple. Walk down the street and look around. What do you see that people would be prepared to pay you for, for a service you can provide?

Mow lawns...clean windows...wash cars...sell newspapers...sweep driveways...at 14 your 'skill sets' are pretty limited so you need to think about things that you can do well that people are willing to pay for. Wealthy people are a good start. They are often so busy at work they dont have time for other things like house work or washing their cars. If they are allready paying someone to do it, ask them how much, then halve it. Before you know it, they will be telling all their friends that some kid will wash their car for half the price that Mr carwasher is doing it for. This is exactly what I did at your age and made a killing.

I use to wash cars when I was 12. Really, i've never been broke. I was trying to be a salesman at age 5 so getting money is in my blood. I don't know man. If you're good at something and its easy for you but hard for others to do, sell your services or the product you make.

If you can draw, draw pictures and sell them.

If you can make music, make music and sell it.

If you make crafts, make crafts and sell it.

If you're good at taking photos, sell photography services.

If you're good with video, sell video recording services.

If you are remotely skilled at doing anything, do it for money.

PS, its almost Christmas. Wait a few weeks and you'll probably have a decent amount of giftcards, cash or stuff you can sell for money.

God if your that desperate for money I think wasting your money on a 360 is a bad idea, there are obviously better things you could be using they money on. Get a job like the rest of us and pay for things yourself. I have 2 jobs work 30 hours a week and go to high school. When I buy something like a new 360 pro i just bought for christmas, I feel alot more appreciation for it because I know I worked hard to obtain that... Selling off things is the last thing you want to do. Your going to want to play that DS again someday, and now you have to get money to buy a new one.

I know many people with a job at 14...even younger, dont be lazy.
