I don't care if I get flamed and no I am not a Sony fanboy I actually hate Sony but this game sucks and just pisses me off. The online rankings are so cheap. I was a 38 in Lone Wolves and then won a match of all 41's and was bumped up to a 39. Then I played a match of all 45's besides me and got 4th out of 6th. I was depromoted to a 38. WTF!?!?!?! I played 6 levels higher than me. THen 2 months after the release of the game they put out 3 new maps for ten fricken' dollars. This is a rip we just spent 60 dollars on it. THey should have been free or in the game. Also the campaign felt rushed and way to short. This was at most Halo 2.5 this is not worth 60 dollars. Anyone agree?
Yeah this game was overrated.. Single player was good but mutiplayer is just horrible.. trade it in for CoD4 if you havent got it already its multiplayer is much more complete and satisfying.. also i would changeur gamespot picture... but thats just me

yea i don't blame you i stop paying the game after like 3 weeks, i would trade mine in but my mom got it for my B-day and i don't get rid of nothing my parent give to me for B-day's or this upcoming special event.
ya i agree with you. while i prob won't ever trade the game in bc i like playing it with my friends since u can bring guests online, i also feel like the game was rushed. a lot of the multiplayer is bs too. and the maps for $10, come on. do those maps really make the game worth $70? halo is an ok game, very overrated.

Totally agree. I traded in Halo 3 after a few weeks because all my buddies had traded it in and I was just bored with it and knew I would be playing CoD4 a ton. Halo 3 had multiplayer that was pretty sweet but it just felt overrated and it was the same as it was last game. The SP was HORRIBLE though! I couldn't stand it!
Halo 3 is overrated. The single player campign has HORRIBLE design, way to much stupid back tracking through EMPTY corridors that look IDENTICAL to each other. 5 alien types that shout the most cheesy lines at you and everything looks like it was designed by mattel.

good for you. i agree with you, the single player was just the same thing over and over, with just different surroundings. the multiplayer is just, yeah, bad. my copy of it will be hitting ebay pretty soon.

i play halo 3! but i have to admit that the game has been rushed, the multiplayer is pritty much the same as halo 2 was. and before you know it you will get some freaks that sit there all day and all night playing the game saying that its the best game of all time haking it to get to level 50 just like in halo 2. Some people might say that i am a critic to the game but the fact is that soon enough the gme will be hacked by some freak that wants to ruin the game community for us all. Lots of people in here are saying that COD4 is better, ibe played the game online and on single player and i have to say the campaign is amazing but the AI are pathetic the enemy look like theyve been made from cardboard boxes and the story line is pritty boring becuase all u do is mindlessly gun down the crap AI. The multiplayer is stupid because the maps are annoying the game online feels like it was made in the 1800's because the amount of weapons u get are pathetic and this is the same story with halo 3. yes bungie have added a few new weapons but none of then give me the urge to want to use them as much as the weapons you start with. Halo 3's lack of a storyline is one of its major downfalls because on several occasions throughout the campaign i found myself thinking i want some action i want something 2 have a catastrophic effect on the storyline. but i was let down. the video sequences in halo 3 are poor because ive noticed how similar the people look in halo 3 to halo 2, theyre fingers look like talens nd sargent johnson looks like theyve coloured him in on PAINT!! The ending to the game is poor. i was on hte last mission thinking yes this will be a good explosive finish to the saga but i was wrong because the end video is very boring because all you see is the commander giving a speech to the soldiers. If i was the creator of halo 3's sotryline i would have finished off the saga by making an explosive storyline where the covenant invade not just earth but our entire galaxy. every once in a while throw in a planet like mars which gets exterminated and every living thing on that planet is destroyed. but my finish to the game would be the galaxy is at its last stand and the last bit you see is masterchief and the prophet at eachothers throughts and the prophet exterminates all life in the entire galaxy and all of known space leaving the game totally and utterly finished. my overall score for the game is 5/10.
The maps you mentioned are free in a few months. As for trading in the game, congratulations. I'm not sure why you felt you had to share it with others, but oh well.

That is the biggest load of crap i ever have read. I bet you watched gameplay videos of COD4 and Halo 3. You probably even watched the story line too. Dont ever write something like this again.
I love the game and can't stop playing the multiplayer. Sure there's some lag issues here and there, but overall I get a lot of good entertainment out of it. There will be people who love it and people who hate it, but I'm one of those who really enjoy the game.

the ammount of people who argue with others because they dislike halo3 is crazy. i liked it for awhile but after going back to my old shooters i realized how terrible it was. so i must be dumb for likinggears of war,a mature game that deserves that mature rating rather than a mature game that invovles you shooting aliens that remind you of annoying little kids. and matchmaking for halo 3 awesome, but the online play is just halo 2 with better graphics. now all you halo fans can flame me, or suck on my johnson, private.

I agree with you. Halo 3 is in my opinion only a ok type of game. Nothing great about it at all, nothing original. I enjoy Halo 1 and 2 more. I played Halo 3 for like 3 weeks and was bored with it.
I find the ranking system messed up too and for awhile I never play it - but I started playing again and I found it fun again. I only traded in a collection of games once - and I was 12. I think that's why GameStop still has trade-ins cuz they know 12 year olds and stupid people trade in games for 5% of what they paid.
