I am this close from destroying my Xbox.

This has got to be the third time Ive beaten a boss ive had a hard time on (Devil may cry 4) and the ****ing laser in the 360 stops running after i beat him. No its not the disk. Its in mint condition. I get the white screen of death 90% of the time when i start my xbox however and have to pop the disks in and out consistantly before the friggen thing decides to run. The warrenty is already void im sure since i purchased this box in jan of 06.

Is there a specific part i could simply order and install myself? Or is the dvd laser in there only licensed to the xbox its on? (lock out security is what im worried about)

Take it (or send it) to a place like this: modspace.com.au . These types of businesses thrive on doing what microsft won't.

P.S: I am not recomending this shop at this time as I have yet to do business with them.

120$ and 4 weeks of waiting. I dont think theyd send me mine either. Most likely simply another xbox they think is running. Ive seen some bad scenarios where people get their xbox's back and then something ELSE is wrong with them.sharpshooter188
