my 360 had to break 2 days before gta comes out! i mean WTF microsoft @@@@@@@@!.

My dvd rom broke anyone know what part it is, and who its made by, i gotta pick another one up as my 1 year warrenty is already gone, ive had like 3 consoles break on me :(

You do know that you have a 3 year warranty for RRoD right. If you open it up you will no longer have that.LRP85

i didnt get the ring, it all plays normally, except the game dont works and neither do the dvd's but cd's do. i might just open it up to check out what drive they use on it

I was just letting you know as if you open it up and then a year from now get the RRoD you will not have that warranty and have to pay to get it fixed. I have just read a lot of posts on here were the person did not know about that.

I had that same problem and I just went out and bought a lens cleaner and used it and it works great. I would do that before you try to send it in.

They charge $99 were I live. I don't know if it is different though as I have heard of people being charge $130 or more. You should call them and ask them.

Heh mine doesnt even do that, i put in a disc and its all green but goes onto the part at beginning with your gamer card like i didnt even put a disc in, im real pissed about this, i sent them an email, i better not get a automated responcegreenstreet10

I don't know. They send you a box that is pre-paid posting. The money you pay them includes the posting so you don't have to worry about paying to send it when you do. When I had to send mine in it was through the UPS.

My 360 didn't brick on me, but I was trying to play Streets of Rage 2 and it kept saying to download the full game. When I already OWN the full game. I kept deleting it and re-downloading the full game, but it kept saying UNLOCK FULL GAME. So I just turned off my 360 cause I wasn't in the Halo 3/CoD4/GoW mood... just wanted to play some side-scrollin beat 'em up action, but NO!
