I can't do it... I just cannot beat Silent Hill 2...

Its too damn disturbing.

It scares me to no end and it makes me think about life more than I should when playing a game...

I can't play past the apartment and I can't watch further than the first *spoilers* pyramid head fight *end spoilers*

I just can't... After 6 years I still can't...

So can someone just tell me is it worth it to play through if it disgusts and disturbs and scares the **** out of me the entire way through?

Because I've heard the story is excellent and it makes you think about morals.

Yeah the game is pyschologically disturbing, and if you cant get passed the apartment, you arent prepared for the rest of the game.

Go to a silent hill theory fansite, you wouldnt believe how many symbols and inner meanings are in SH 2.

But come on, the game really isnt that scary once you get 80+ health drinks and ridiculous amounts of ammo.

lol i wish i still felt that kinda fear when playing scary games, now it at most is just a tense feeling in my spine for 2 seconds and thats it. but yeah you should beat it, its a really good game. and dont wrry the more scary games you play you wont get so "disturbed" as often.and like another poster state, playing with a buddy in the room really kills the scare factor so you should try that

Silent Hill 2 is an amazing game...But if it freaks you out that much, there's no way you'll be able to handle the end areas of that game...

It's too bad though, because the storyline is one of the best in any game
