I picked one up friday night with no problems. Walked into game stop and ask if they had one, and left with it. I have seen them at wal mart. I live in texas as well.
use your phone book and call before you go somehwere. call your game stores, wal marts, targets, kmarts, sears, circuit city, best buy, frys or any computer store that would be selling them. if they got one ask them to hold it for you, if they dont ask them if they got a copule of them and drive there asap.

Wal-Mart: Saw about 15 units.
EB: 10 Units Left
Futureshop(Bestbuy): 22 Unts Counted.
And that was when i went yesterday. Since they came out, ive never seen a time when they were out of stock. If you live Near the border, head north for a day, then you should be fine.Â
they are prolly not shipping out many to cause hype like nintendo is doin with the wii and we all think microsoft did with the norm. 360. it will be on shelfs everyware in a few months.
