What the hell... This worked the last time I did it which was 4 days ago. 2 nights ago I plugged my iPod into my COMPUTER and I updated my iPod. Then I go to play 360 and the 360 won't recognize my portable device. What do I do?

I have the same problem, The latest ipod update i think made it not compatible with the 360. I'm gonna go look for that ipod support download on the marketplace and see if all you have to do is downoad a updated version of it or something.

the same thing happened to me. the problem is that if you update the ipod before downloading the new version of itunes this will happen. So i restored my ipod and reupdated it and everything worked perfectly.

The iPod update changed some of the settings for the iPod. You can't access the iPod through your "Profile" blade at all. BUT you can still listen to your iPod on the 360.

Way #1 - You have to go to the "media" blade of the 360 select Music, then select Audiobooks. Your iPod should show up.

Way #2 - Plug your iPod into the computer, go into iTunes and choose to revert your iPod back to a previous update. That should make everything back to normal.

How do you revert your ipod to a previous software version without deleting all of the music off of it?
