little bit of advice, dont yell or swear, cause that will bring your service to a halt, and they will do all they can to stop helping you.

when dealing with them, just give em the ol, your extremely disappointed routine, and if they arent able to take care of you properly, that you will have to guide your friends towards another system, as you wish to save them time and money, etc etc. try to be as professional about it as possible, while setting a tone that your right pissed!

Hes right. I took the professional route when I was having my Xbox Live problems, and told them what was wrong and they helped me set it up and they were very kind and polite about it. Just be nice, and they will help you as much as you can.

Well, where do you keep your console? Is it in a cool well vented area? If not your console could just be over heating, and you should move it. Also (for me at least) keep your console vertical. NEVER change the direction while you are playing a game. Other than that you night just be having console problems. But be profesional and try not to get to mad. Also tell them it is disapointing how such a great company could be making such mistakes. Hope you get your console fixed.

Yelling won't give them the worst hell. Being extremely polite, nice, and friendly while making it clear that they have hurt you is the worst hell you can give any business.

Well that seems like the problem there. It sounds like your console isn't getting enough air, and causing your console to over heat. So try moving your console somewhere where it can get some more air, and not get as hot. See if that works. If it doesn't try the towel trick. Other than that, talk to microsoft. Good luck

The back isn't the part that sucks in air. The front is the part where air is sucked in so make sure there is cool air to be sucked in from the front. The back is where all the hot air is blown out. Make sure nothing is blocking the hot air from being blown out so the hot air can disperse.

If you have a desk. Put a box of paper clips under each side of the 360. But yes having a fan behind it would also be a pretty good idea as well. Also take a look at the FAQ on the 360, to find out some other ideas on how to fix it. Feel free to ask any questions.

i have heard that just putting a small fan, blowing over it will work, and blow/vacuum it out everyso often to keep the dust to a minimum. its amazing how much heat dust can create.

dont yell at the people on the phone, they have nothing to do with your 360, they didnt design or even help fix the system, all you're doing is being extremely rude, how would you like it if you were doing your job and somone came in yelling about something that doesnt have anything to do with you?

If you do do it and you dont feel guilty afterwards, then i have bad news, you are pure evil, j/k kinda

Believe me, if you had to listen to people yelling at you at least a few times a day just cause you answered the phones you wouldn't be saying that,

If you call and act like an immature adolescent that's exactly how they'll treat you.  Good luck.
