This is an arguement that goes on and on. I personally have had it connected both ways, and can't tell the difference. If you do get an HDMI cable, don't pay a lot for one. This is another arguement, but if you do some research on it, most say that you can just get a cheap HDMI cable, and it is no different than if you pay a lot for one from a store like Best Buy. monoprice.com, is a great place for all of your cable needs. I have bought from them many times, and never had any problems.

You don't get better graphics from your console, the graphics are set and can't be changed the only difference is Picture quality and sometimes better color. There ae some games hat will look slightly sharper but its barely noticible. In most games it will be somewhat sharper but You will see lots and lots of jaggies depending how close you sit to it. I would jsut pick an HDMI cable up from Newegg.com for about 10 bucks for better picture quality from both your console and your movies.

I completely disagree IF you have an HDTV there is a huge difference in the way the game looks. I do agree however that you use cheap hdmi cables though. It's a digital signal and anything under 6 foot will not have any noticeable differences.

I use HDMI for my 360. You can find a regular HDMI cable for 20-30 bucks. HDMI works very well.

Difference isn't huge but noticeable.
