I didn't like the Bioshock demo and feel like I must be an idiot

I didn't like the Bioshock demo at all and now I think that I must be an idiot with no taste in games because every review is saying it's "incredible", "what games are meant to be" etc. etc.

I just found the demo to be clunky in terms of movement, unsatisfying in terms of weapons, and not very engaging.

Is there something wrong with me?

For the record, I am debating just buying the game and forcing myself to play the whole thing on the assumption that I will end up loving it (but I may just end up getting Stranglehold instead).

I know that it's not that I am a twitchy, immature game (e.g. I am 30 years-old and prefer tactical shooters to run and gun type games).
