I do beleive the 360 won this years E3

2 years ago it was Nintendo with all its Wii stuff. Last year it was PS3, and now its the 360. Where Nintendo is focusing on peripherals and casuals (mostly) and PS3 is focusing mostly on.. whatever, I guess Littlebigplanet... 360 is all about the games.

Red Faction is one I am DEFINATLY looking forward to.

Ok i dont know why in the world you would say PS3 won last year, when it clearly did not.. :? Last year the Xbox 360 reigned supreme above all with the best and biggest line up of games, downloadable content, and hardware availabe, not too mention the biggest and most E3 announcements of 07. This year most favorably it will go to the PS3 with games like MGS 4, Little Big Planet, Resistance 2, Gran Turismo 5: Prologue, Socom: Confrontation, Motorstorm 2, etc etc... Also with the big announcement of the new ability to purchase movies on your PS3 at minimal costs and being able to put those movies in your PSP and take anywhere you go and hook them up to any tv you want through your PSP. They also showed many more new exclusives that are to be for the PS3 in the coming years. And the main part of the Sony Press Conference i was impressed with, was when they head many head studio developer on video talk about how the PS3 was the best system to play multi platformer games with its processor power and blue-ray technology.. Yeah Microsoft had some good announcements like the new 60gb console, the new dashboard, and FF 13 coming to the 360, but they were no where near Sony in terms of scale of announcements and releases this year. Im not a PS3 fanboy or anything far from it being as the only console i own right now is a 360, but im sorry Microsoft you got owned this year by Sony...

Looks like im going to be heading out to buy a 80gb PS3 when it releases.

I don't know about winning but it certainly did a great job. Gears of War 2 destroys anything the PS3 has to offer in exclusives if you ask me and with titles like Resident Evil 5, Fallout 3 (which has exclusive DLC nonetheless), and Fable 2 along with it's certainly a good time to be a 360 owner.

And, I like the new dashboard and the new features that Microsoft is implementing, such as installing games directly to the hard drive, the eight player chat-party system. I am partial to the avatars. I love the Netflix feature. Streaming movies and watching them on my tv is a lot better than watching them on a computer screen.

yeh i think the xbox 360 has been the more inpressive this year

Microsoft got lucky getting to go first because it allowed them to show all the multiconsole games (Fallout 3, RE5, etc). Also Gears 2 looks great.

I didn't watch the Nintendo conference, but from what I heard on G4 they really lacked in the game department.

The only Sony conference was kinda boring until near the end when they finally showed InFamous, God of War 3 (I want it on the PS2), and MAG (Massively, Multiplayer, Action, Game). Also Little Big Planet has a lot of potential.

I would agree that Microsoft (more specifically the 360) won the conference war this year.

PC is not a company.

Anyways, I wanted Nintendo to win. But Microsoft won for me. Sony may have had the most exciting show, but not content. Microsoft showed me stuff I liked, even if they did it in an unentertaining way. And Nintendo really didn't show the stuff they have that I wanted to see.

the wii is something i never looked forward to, it is too gimmicky. after playing it, the only game i could get into was re4, which i had already beat on gc and ps2. its good for expanding the market to older people and girls, but it's not a system for hardcore gamers. the only thing from ms that interested me was gears 2, fable 2, and ff13 coming to 360 too, but guess what, it's going to be on the ps3 still, and it will be on one disc on it, so thats that system that i will buy it for. plus they've had more time so they will probably have better graphics for it on ps3. everything else ms touted was multiplat, and most of the multiplat stuff i get for ps3 cause i like the controller better and i hate the achievements system with a passion. now the ps3 had a lackluster showcase for a while too, but god of war 3 looked amazing, and MAG is just simply beyond this world awesome. i mean seriously, 256 players in ONE match. plenty of other ps3 titles that look promising as well, but 360 has nothing announced for 2009 that i'm interested in that isn't multiplat.
