This is the 360 airlfow diagram. I can't determine which angle is it from and what the parts are (top, bottom, HDD side)...can someone help me?

The picture is just like you are facing your console. If you look closely you can see the "Ring of Light" on the front right hand side. The fan is directly behind the Ring of Light. To the left of the Ring of Light at the front you can see a large open space - this is where the DVD Drive would sit, but it's not in this picture.
One observation i will say about this picture is that there appears to be an easy to see design flaw with the air flow system (imagine that) - if the fan is facing downwards towards the bottom of the console and the motherboard moving in the direction shown here - then the fan is pushing air down onto the hot mother board. To expect the airflow to magically follow this path through the heat-sinks, when the fan is facing downwards - would not be efficient at all! We must remember that heat rises and if the fan is blowing down the air coming from the fan is actually warm from moving across the motherboard.
The airflow shown going through the heat-sink that is directly behind the fan would get airflow the way it shown - just not very efficiently.
The airflow diagram you see to the left of the fan - (the air) which would presumably run under the DVD Drive - then magically makes a hard right hand turn in order to hit the Silver colored heat-sink. This doesn't work the way the diagram shows really - the air will not magically change direction on it's own. Also I believe that the silver heat-sink is the one over the GPU which has been the source of most "Red Light" and overheating issues with the console. I will say that looking at this diagram - it IS VERY EASY TO SEE WHY.
Any PC enthusiast - let alone a professional tech or uber-geek would have been able to done a better design in reference to air flow. Looking at this diagram gave me about ten ideas that make me want to crack my case open and "fix" unfortunately i won't as I don't want to void the warranty. Very poor design in reference to the airflow though and it explains to me why the consoles are having so many problems.
Makes me wonder if Bill Gates has even seen or is aware of this. I guarantee he would look at this airflow diagram and go WTF!!!! This makes me think that while Jay Allard was designing the thing and got it all ready for launch back in 2005 - that Mr. Gates was only being shown mostly or all complete products and didn't have much if any involvement with the actual architecture inside. Gates is the software King after all - and doesn't get into all the details of MS anymore. Again I guarantee if he saw this diagram he would say "WTF, I'm a software guy and even I know that's not a proper design in the hardware".
Wow - that's about all I can say is wow.
Please either post the link or email me the link for the site where you got this diagram from - this is actually HUGE in my mind, because it pretty much would account for at least 90% of the hardware failures with the Xbox 360.
Hope that helps and - Thank you.
