I dont want to see a new xbox soon

I was jst wondering if I am the only one who doesnt want to see a new xbox, I mean, first they definatley need to fix the 360 (RROD, E74) and we all know that the new xbox will have a high failure rate because microsoft doesnt care about customers happiness

not really. honestly don't care. i think the next one willl be built better

i am just mostly wait for my pro to break so i can get the elite with the new jasper cheap

Same here. When my first Xbox broke down, I was dissapointed. Waited 3 months before getting another, hoping that some problems would be fixxed.

I wouldnt mind an Xbox handheld, but a new system is just ridiculous in my mind

Nor do I. I really hope this gen continues for another 5 years. I don't care about next gen graphics so I'm fine with how the consoles are now.

umm i'm sure microsoft had learned there lesson from the xbox 360 when they go ahead making the new xbox. they pretty much got the xbox fixed with the jasper chip. so ya i'm sure they have soemthing better in few yearsk2theswiss

apparently the x-box 360 has power that hasn't been tapped in to yet? this this true? like one of the people said above. the next generation console won't be out for another few years yet. and whatever it is called... the operating names for it right now are x-box 720 and x-box 7. i think they should do away with the x-box trademark then make up a new name for their console.

any suggestions?

Microsoft just spent a lot of time and money in this whole Jasper chip thing.
Theres no way they'll make a new Xbox so soon with that coming out.. Otherwise it's a waste. People won't buy the Jasper chip Xbox's.

An xbox Handheld would be pretty awesome.
I could sit on the bus and shoot people in the face. Making the journey a lot less boring.

Oh and I can't stress this enough.
Please stop calling it the Xbox 720!

Edit: The person that mentioned Natal is completely correct.
Along with the Jasper chipped xbox's.. Microsoft will probably spend a whole lot of money and time in the Natal Project. Marketing and such and seeing how much they can evolve their console with that..

There's been rumors that there is supposed to be a redesign next year that will include the project Natal hardware. I would think a new MB would be included with smaller more efficient chips. I'd like to see them include wireless in the whole thing. It's still supposed to be basically the 360 but with some improvements. Sort of like when the HDMI port was added.

I dont want to see a new one yet because UHHH, I cant afford it.

ill have to sell my 360 its games and everything, No thank you, I am comfortable with mine now.

I'd love it if they released the next Xbox next year. I've been playing my 360 since 2005. I'ts time for the next generation IMO.

a new xbox in 2012 is as out rageuos as a Ps4 in 2013 its not going to happen. There are 3 Major reasons for this the first of which is the natal. MS put a lot of money to break into the casual gamer society so they would want games on thier new device, am I correct? So to have a decent amount of games on the natal would take about 3 or 4 years (kinda like the 360 from launch to now). Second Sony and nintendo have not shown even remote signs that they are even thinking about thier next system (I can safely bet you that MS already has the next xbox planned out). Lastly, The 360 is still selling like CRAZYforget system wars for a moment 150000 xboxes a week? thats a huge source of demand not to mention that 3rd party devs have enough of a fanbase to keep supporting the 360no matter what happens. So all in all I can see the next xbox comming out no sooner than 2013 or 2014. But when it does, oh boy I just hopeits not too pricey. Andit has BC(~500$)

They won't call it the 720. They called it the 360 because it represented the unity in four players, hence a 360 is a full circle. When four players join it, it creates the full 360 circle around the power button.

I think microsoft does the same thing as apple...design things to break after a certain time so you have to buy a new one...I forgot what the word is
