should I still buy the 360 wireless adapter or should I buy a different brand name one?

Would the brand name one still work on my 360?

What's the radius of the 360 wireless adapter?

Thanks!

Go for the cord... Cheaper and Better performance online... Wireless will lag you up sometimes...

I've never had problems with lagging and the Wireless Router... If you wanna spend the 100 dollars go ahead... but basically you can use any Wireless adapter that uses USB to plug into whatever you want to be wireless.

Possible choices:

1. Run a long ethernet cable from your router. Use a staple gun to tack it to the wall and make it not that visible (try to buy like a beige or light grey cable so it's not too visible).

2. Change the place of your modem. Just move your modem to where your 360 setup is if you can. If your PC was connected by ethernet cable just buy a $10-15 wireless pci card and your set. Saves you a lot of cash.

Well I basically just use my wireless adapter when I go to my friends house. He has a cable modem and it only has one ethernet port. I think you should If you're tired of using the ethernet. I don't lag at all In my adapter.

You are wrong dude. You can't just use any Wi-fi adaptor. They need drivers. As for the 360's Wi-fi, the drivers are already in the console itself. I'm using the 360's wi-fi. Doesnt seem to lag anyway. Just need a good bandwidth.

sorry but if your xbox is really that far away i think the only option you have is to spend 100 on the adapter, unless you can use ebay or buy it used from somewhere
