I am done with my 360. I just can't handle it anymore. Are the very few exclusives really worth constant repairs and online fees? Are the 360's exclusives even any better the the PS3's? Killzone 2 > Halo 3? MGS4 > Gears of War or Mass Effect? PS3 graphics > Xbox 360 graphics? I just don't know anymore. I think I'm going to go to Gamestop tomorrow. I bet that I could get at least 100 bucks. Just $300 away from salvation. Can any one talk me out of it?

I'm not really here to talk you out of it, just putting in my two cents. Graphic-wise you aren't going to see any noticable differences between the 360 and the PS3. Also, I don't know how you can put MGS4>Gears of War when they are completely different games. I think both have some sick exclusives but I like the multiplayer on 360 much more than the PS3 and I love games like Gears of War and Mass Effect. If you want a PS3 get one. It's your choice.

You are an idiot. Why would you want to play the lagfest that is Sony's online? Did you make any friends during your time with your xboxlive? People you liked talking to from other countries and states? People that you can tell anything because you will never see them EVER? Seriously if you are even saying online isnt worth it, sure go sell it. As for exclusives we have WAY more then the Ps3. But you go do what you want to. We will have fun with our Halo3 ODST, Xboxlive, Splintercell Conviction, and all the other stuff for years to come. You can play your MGS4 which WILL get old and killzone 2 which cant compete with the awesomeness of Halo 3 and Gears.

If your looking for better graphics, sorry, you'll hardly notice any difference. Also,

Yeah, regarding the headset issue, according to one of my close friends who plays PSN a lot, NO-ONE has headsets practically.

Was you expecting a positive answer from another 360 owner? The online on the PS3 isn't bad, it's good. Don't believe them. Of course they never played a ps3 before to criticizing it like this. The exclusives on PS3 are very good... titles like: Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Resistance 2 isn't good as these others but still good and worth buying... i prefer the first one, Valkyria Chronicles is another great exclusive, ,i ordered Uncharted today, looks very good too, Warhawk is a great multiplayer game.I don't know about the 360, you should know. I won't criticize it as i never played it unlikely some other users on this thread that keep saying bad things about something that they never experienced. The choice is yours.

P.S.: English isn't my native language, so desconsider any grammatical mistakes.

Oh, and there's a ton exclusives in the way too... Final Fantasy Versus XIII, God of War 3, Uncharted 2, MAG, Twisted Metal, Yakuza 3, inFamous, Gran Turismo 5, Heavy Rain, Fat Princess (PSN),White KnightChronicles and a few that i don't remember. All of them looking pretty good.

And the connection thing is relative. Games like Killzone 2, Resistance 1 and 2, Warhawk and some others, are 100% free of lag. Sony has not to do with it. The developers of certain game do.

I have both systems and Graphics wise Xbox 360 has a little better graphics. Online Ps3 has free online play, and its wii fi is built inside of it but theirs more lag on the ps3 than their is on the Xbox 360. Storage space Ps3 wins hands downbecause, of theblueray disc.but soon the Xbox360 will have it as well. Controllers in my opinon 360's are better ps3's hurt my hands after a while because of the triggers, 360's triggers go into the controller theey dont hang out like on the ps3. Down falls: For the xbox 360 redring of death, have to pay for charge kits, have to pay for wii fi conector, have to pay for online, also not enough storage space. Ps3 down falls: Online lag is bad execpt in killzone 2, bring back the old ps2 controller design, no mute button online, all of the games cant run 1080. Thats all I can think of right. My Xbox I've had for 3 years and never got the red ring of death , It was the Halo 3 xbox360payed $400 dollars for it. So you decide do you want a system that has more space, free online, less fail rate, Or the 360 with better online , little better graphics, and more comfortable controllers.

I have a PS3 with one game. I have a Xbox 360 with over 60 games and over 50 arcade games. The PS3 is disappointing to say the least.

You cant compare MGS4 to Gears or Mass Effect, their completely different games. Also Live is only like $7 a month, if you cant afford that then good luck getting $300 more to get a PS3CardiacKid07

Having both consoles, I can say that I would give my ps3 up before my 360. From the non exclusives I've played on both systems they tend to look and run better on the 360 than the ps3. Although the ps3 has had it's huge exclusives as of late you can't forget about all of the great exclusives that have already come out on the 360. Project Gotham Series, Mass Effect, Gears of War, Ninja Gaiden 2, Dead Rising, Lost Oddysey, Crackdown, Kameo, Halo 3, Forza, Fable, Dead or Alive, Braid, Left 4 Dead, Viva Pinata.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep your 360. The PS3 should be bought with the 360, not instead of a 360. They both have great exclusives. If you can get the $$$, get a PS3 too, but don't sell your 360.

Microsoft willl have more exclusive don't worry about that. Anyway E3 is coming and I think Microsoft will annonce many exclusive coming this year. We already know some exclusive title like GTA 4 DLC 2, Mass Effect 2, Halo ODST, Alan Wake(I'm sure we are going to see more at E3) Lionhead is also working on a game and it's going to be annonce at E3 press conference. Rumor games are: Forza 3, a new Perfect Dark( It's sure that RARE is working on something right now), PGR5, a new RPG from Mistwalker(creator of Lost Odyssey) and many more...I just can wait to see this year E3.

Anyway if you don't like you're 360 as muchI like it sell it and it's all.

I have both sustems. I like 360 better. No way KZ2 is better than Halo. Have not played MGS4 but you can't compare it to gears and you did not even compare ME to anything. Also a lot of other exclusives that went unmentioned. L4D for example is an awesome game.

I own both systems. I won't be giving up on either.

ME and Gears don't compare to MGS4 because they arn't the same genre. I don't know about you but i haven't had to spend a dime on repairing my system at all (MS paid for it) and exlusives and non exclusives are worth it.

I do plan on buying a PS3 eventually (Blu-Ray is next formant so i will need it eventually) and i have no doubt FF13 will be better on it and i want Versus and White Knight Chronicles, but i don't think those will cover up games that i have played like Mass Effect, Viva Pinata, Halo 3 (i loved Killzone 1, but i never thought it was better than Halo so i am guessing i will probably feel the same way about the sequel).

I had a Wii and i sold it, but i can't deny it did have some good games like Brawl, Galaxy, Twilight, RE4 (pulled off the best shooting mechanics), and some others and now i won't be able to play them. Now i have to live without that, even though i don't think it will be that hard to.

I mean if you want a PS3 then why not buy one... maybe keep the 360 (no one forces you to pay for less than $5 a month xbox live). I bet it will get some great offline games in the future like it has right now. Or sell it, but no matter what it will be nice for you to know that this is probably better blog material. This isn't so much talk about games or talk about the 360 console (except of how much you dislike it). So you could blog this and piss off a lot less people... just a thought.

Being a 360 gamer and a PS3 gamer is almost the same. Graphicwise they are almost the same, when GeOW was released 360 was a little better and with KZ2 PS3 is a little better but Alan Wake or some unannounced exclusive could bring the 360 back on top. If you really want to switch consoles for the 7of 8 exclusives that the PS3 and you want then that´s your decision. But your basicly switching a white football for a black one. Nothing really changes, at first you might like it better but after a few weeks you won't notice the differce.

On top of that your switching because of the exclusives, that would mean you already played through all the 360 exclusives which is beyond sick. At such a rate you woudl be done with the PS3's exclusives in Januari 2010. I know that you must be a ardcore gamer to go through so many games and that a empty ear like 2009 might hurt you a lot but just hold on. Instead fo wasting 300 dollars go get some games you missed, maybe Bully, Overlord, Dead Rising, etc I dont know but you can´t possibly have played them all.

honestly , having owned both, I prefer the 360, mainly because of the online, if you have friends online or want to interact with anyone while playing other games the 360 is way ahead of the ps3. on the other hand ps3 has bluray and a few really really good exclusives like mgs 4. but it really isnt worth trading off for imo. the ps3 has a lot of features like built in wireless, bluray, less red rings then the 360, but for me it wasnt worth the trade off for the 360s bigger library of games and better online interactivity with friends. I havent had a 360 red ring so maybe with bad experience with that i can see why someone would think about ps3.

ffv 13 is not a ps3 exclusive its coming out for xbox 360

Graphics wise they are so close also that shouldnt be a consideration, though somewhat related I have to say the xbox 360 has more variety and flexibility with hooking up to monitors with vga and matching the native resolution of the tv, instead of just setting it to 720p or 1080i or p. I have a 720p tv with native res of 1368x768(around), and there is a slight different setting it from the 1280x720(p) to the 1368x768.
