i got a $100 dollar gift card for gamestop, not sure what i should get.

I have a few game right now,

Dark Souls, Skyrim, GTAIV, Legos Indian Jones (Daughters game ), Left 4 Dead 2, Mass Effect 1,2,3, Battlefield 3, civilation revelotion, dragons dogma, dragon age, Borderlands 2.

I dont feel like writing the list of games i've had and traded in because it would take a liitle to long and i would get depressed lol.

Anyhow, i got a $100 dollar game card for gamestop and i'm in a loss at what to get. RE6 is already paid for so no point in saving my card for that. SO recomened away.

I'm stuck playing Borderlands 2 right now lol. Here are some good games (you've probably played all of these but oh well lol)

Max Pane 3 - I'm not a big fan of 3rd person shooters but this game is amazing.

Portal (1 and 2) - Perfect mind game

Saint's Row the Third - Funny and pretty good (I still prefer GTA though)

Dead Space (1 and 2) - My favorite IP this generation. If you haven't played these games then hands down pick these to buy.

Soul Calibur V - If you like customizing then this game has a really good character creation. My brother has made over 300 characters (you can hold up to 50 at a time but it keeps a record of them all) and I believe I've made around 100. Also combat is very solid.

Batman Arkham City - Never played Asylum but I heard it was good. I also still have to beat AC but I heard the ending is one of the best in any game so far.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 - One of my favorite games of all time. If you like SWAT stuff and realistic combat then it's a pretty great choice.

Splinter Cell Conviction - Good story and awesome gameplay

Fallout (3 and New Vegas) - They look a little outdated but there's a lot to keep you occupied for a good 200-300 hours if you like to make a lot of files (a stealth character, a hacker character, etc.)

Mirror's Edge - I've played a lot of 9/10 games and I still love to play this. It might just be me but I'll always love the game.

Red Dead Redemption - If you play just the story then it'll still take awhile to beat. Amazing story and some of the best voice acting in a game. Also if you liked GTA you might like this too.

Minecraft - You might like it or hate it, but if you want to kill time wating for RE6 for $20 this'll be a really good buy.

Out of those games I'd say my top three choices are Dead Space, Max Pane 3, and then Portal. If you've played all of them or you want to keep some money for holiday games coming out soon then I'd suggest Minecraft, Soul Calibur, or Fallout because they are very good time-killer games. If you're not sure about these games, I'd look up some gameplay on youtube :). Hope this helps :)

Prey II is coming out soon and in order to understand how the lead of the second game got where he is I suggest playing the first game which can be had for $5 at a local Gamestop. The first game tell the story of a Native American named Tommy who is taken prisoner in the opening minutes of an alien invasion of Earth Tommy at first just wants two things TO FIND HIS WOMAN AND GET THE HELL OFF THE SHIP. But Tommy ends up being part of a prophecy about a warriior who must save humanity from invaders that come from the sky the game features one of the best classic rock sound tracks I've ever heard and you'll find random radios that play clips of Art Bell taking phone calls from people who are eye witnesses to the invasion. What separates the hero Tommy from other heroes in these types of games is the fact HE HATES THE WHITE MAN for what they did to his people & HE HATES HIS OWN PEOPLE for holding on to beliefs that don't seem relevent anymore. It's aslo refreshing to hear a charactor speak like a real person actually watching the world fall apart around him (to say this game is not meant for kids is understatement). Prey II is about an Air Marshal who's plane is seen in the opening of the first game and how he ends up being an intergalactic bounty hunter.

Save it, just because you have $100 to burn doesn't mean you have to use it right now, gift cards never expire.

It's not cancelled they pushed the game to some unknown date in 2013

Prey 2 has a stormy period behind and it all began with information about a possible cancellation. This was learned from an anonymous source and after some research it was also revealed the Facebook page of the game had been quiet for some time. Bethesda did not respond to the message, or to another message that surfaced about a possible cancellation of Doom 4 .

Some time later Bethesda issued a statement that the game is still just in the making, but it soon became clear that there was a rift between Zenimax (Bethesda's parent company) and developer Human Head. This was followed by postponement of Prey 2 to early next year, but now the whole game is nowhere to be found on the new website of Bethesda.

Pete Hines has stated that the reason the game has disappeared from the site has to do with it's postponement and that there is currently nothing to say about the game. More or less since the rumble between Human Head and Zenimax no progress has been made and that it does not appear that any will happen soon.

Add to that some games that are on the site will appear in 2013, the absence of Prey 2 is remarkable. Especially in combination with the pronunciation of Hines. We gamble that there is little chance that we Prey 2 next year ...?

There are lots of lots of diff games that are good (old n new)
I just looked at my stuff... picked the newest.

Your daughter might like Sonic Generations. :) It's fun kept in old school feel.

nah i dont need to save it for all the new games coming out i have enough money to buy them on day one. Its just having a 100 dollar gift card has made me want to try out some games i was on the fence on. Thus i did take the first posters advice and bought dead space 2, minecraft, and batman. I also got dead island but i think i'm going to return it. Every person who joined my game had a modded weapon so it doesnt look like i can find a good coop game in it. thxx for the recommendations guys. Trinitarian

DUES EX is a GREAT choice! I haven't played Witcher 2 but also heard that is a great game.
