Word is that Toys R Us decided to release the game early, there was this person on the Forums of TeamXbox.com that posted a receipt and pictures of the BioShock game with the manuel, the person managed to get it for $30 because there was this deal at Toys R Us that if you buy a game for regular price you get the 2nd one for 50% off.

Also I was at the Virgin Megastore yesterday and I was watching these people showcase Madden 08, they were giving away some Madden Faceplates and some shirts, they were going to hold this contest to see who will win, winner will get $1000. Anyways when I went to go pick up my Xbox Live Card, I noticed there was 3 copies of Two Worlds, so I am assuming that Virgin also broke the original release date.

the Bioshock commercials changed from "Coming Aug 21" to "Available NOW" last night.

Looks like 2k wanted to drop the game while the demo was still hyped :)

Toys R Us did not "decide" to sell it early. Try calling your local Toys R Us stores like I did. 99% chance you'll get a big "Sorry, don't have it."

Yeah I saw that commercial on You Tube...

I have called every retailer in my area and none of them have the game in stock so if they changed the release date I hope they have some games being shipped out to retailers.

Not at all. I don't mind waiting until next week, I'm having a blast with Madden 08 at the moment. It still doesn't make you any less of a douchebag though.

Thats cool, have fun with madden and honestly yesterday I was just extremly bored so I was more of a douche then usual. Still like glitching though.:) I'll let you guys know whatever yo uwant about the game once i take a shower and get alittle into it.

Honestly I'll probably buy Two Worlds first. That might change after I get home from work today and play the BioShock demo.

You know, it's crazy, I live in Las Vegas, the self proclaimed "City of Sin" and none of the stores here break street date....ever. But a Woolworth's in Kenosha, WI does. Just seems stupid. So I'll most likely have to wait until next week for Two Worlds and BioShock.

I called my local Gamestop (I live in NYC) and asked them if they had Bioshock in and they told me they won't have it till next week. So I doubt any stores are selling them yet.BigDaveyDogz

I just wonder if Toys R Us got it before other retailers...I was at my local Gamestop when they received their daily shipments from UPS and BioShock was not included...

I have since called Toy's R Us and other local retailers to see if anyone actually has the game and I cannot find a single retailer that does.

Wow. I live in Columbus too. I called Sawmill Rd. also. I live about 5 minuts away from there. I also checked it out when I was at Circuit City last night, and it wasn't in the store.
