At first i thought they were neat, but now its like i feel pressured to play old games just for gamer points. It's like you should impress by having alot of gamer points! i hate that! Anyone with me?emmel05
I'm not. And no one cares how many Gamerscore points anymore. People only mention your GS if you have it amazingly high, other wise they can care less.

Well if you feel pressured to play a videogame just to get a few more "points" than you're a tool. What's the point of these "points" anyway? No matter how many you can accrue, you'll never have more than the guy who has the most, who probably plays the 360 24/7. I don't have time for that bs and personally I could really care less...Yeah, it's a cool little sound when an achievement pops up, but what does that really matter at all?
The only time achievements are even worth it is if they challenge you to do something you didn't know you could do in the game and if they unlock things for you to use, like the Zombie Genocider achievement in Dead Rising which unlocks the ultimate zombie killer, the Mega Man Megablaster :)
I don't see the gamerpoints as any kind of a status symbol or anything, I am just a fanatical completionist. The kind of guy that has to keep playing an rpg until I completely leveled everything and got all weapons, items, etc. It's just obsessive compulsive for me.joshmiller333Nice first post.
i liked the gamerscord but now i think that´s stupid ... just i would like that if you have more than5000 points you can download some pics or more than 10000 you can download a special video some thing like that but anaway gamerscord is something for say yeah im a really good player or i play a lot my fuc..ingx360

hate the player not the game, but seriously nobody cares about gamerscore anymore.dsman418I hate both, you don't have to play. It's not an excuse.
I dont care if people i dont know have a higher gamer score then me, i think its more fun to have a higher score between friends...

Agreed
GS dont mean didly squat...there just there to challenge you to get it and to get ppl to come back n play the game. i really dont care bout GS just go wit the flow and get em outta no where!.
I like the idea of achievement points, you're complaining they make you go back to a game, isn't that just called replay value? Blind-Justice
Its not positive replay value if your going back to a horrible game and your playing it just to get the points out of it.
I personally do not play for gamerscore/points. But I love the achievements.
It is true the gamerscore is pointless, but the achievements are there for people that want to push them self to the limits of the game. You should never feel as if you have to do them. They are for if you want to play the game but are un-sure what to do, or if you can unlock something ECT.
So take it as fun, don't take it as something serious.
