Bad Company is just a fun game, great online excellent single player

Civilization is not for everyone but if you dig it its also worth a purchase

I think that depends on what you currently have man. Civ: Rev is pretty fantastic and if you already own Civ IV for PC the more streamlined interface might make you love Civ even more lol. The maps are a bit smaller and theres not as much micromanagement but the interface issues from the PC versions are pretty much gone now. I bought the PS3 version because I have 3 other friends who purchased it for PS3 due to it being the only next gen console they own so basically I was forced too lol. I heard the 360 version has a slightly better framerate and thats awesome since the visuals are already great on PS3.

BF: BC had a great demo in my opinion so if your already tired of your other shooters this one might be worth a shot!!

But my votes for Civ!!

Or you could get a lot of great older games ... I personally think its foolish to buy a game when its new .... You can wait a few months, and most launch games drop quite a bit in price... You probably can get like 4 older games compared to 1 newer game.. Most people just dont have the disipline to do that.. It is clearly the better and wiser desicion to make to wait a little bit to buy games..

If you have Call of Duty 4 or Halo 3 already, I would have to say go for Civ Rev. Battlefield is a very fun game but I'm just not getting into it that much. I usually find myself playing it for an hour or so and yearning to play cod 4 or halo.

How about you don't buy a lesser civilization game or a lesser BF game and get UT3. ;)
