i have a dilema here ...

i'm on unemployment right now, i'm loving every minute of it, i get about 500 dollars every two weeks i get paid and i get to do whatever i please except go to work, all i gotta do to keep those checks coming is apply for a job once a week, pray to god that nobody calls me and then wait for the check to show up on the mail every two weeks,even though i dont pay rent i still have a little money trouble i'm finding myself with less money for other things like going out to partying with my brothers and friendsmy question is after doing the math and with so many games coming to the 360 i'm not gonna have enough money to get all the games i wanna get and still have money for like the other stuff, like going out with my brother to strip clubs and stuff.

so what do you guys think i should do, should i get a job and significantly cut back on gaming to party? or what? what would you do in my position?

unemployment is for people who fall on hard times that have bills to pay and mouths to feed. But I guess you can only get what you put into it. dude If you can't live and party and buy the games you want with $1000 a month and no bills to pay, maybe you need to look real hard where your (free ride) money goes. you should prioritize and set a budget with X amount of $$ for this and Y amount of $$ for that. You will find your funds will stretch alot longer if you know where its going to and how much is wasted on stupid useless crap.

if you get a job.. you will buy videogames :)

the money i get comes from my last employer's account, not from taxes, i had to file an appeal because they denied me the first time, my employer lied and said i walked out when it was them the one who fired me, lucky for me i had a witness, when i won the appeal, the guy that fired me called me the next day calling me all kinds of things, racial slurs and everything, and he still had the balls to ask me to turn down the money, so now just for that i'm getting the money out of spite, and alsobecause they didnt have a justifiable reason to fire me, and i have witnesses so its not like i'm scaming them or anything like that,its not that easy to get aproved for unemployment,i wouldnt be doing it if i felt i was doing something wrong, and dont get me wrong i think i would feel a little better if i was earning my money, but if you knew the details, you too would be more than happy to be taking those fat ***** for everything they got.

time to manage my money better i guess, i'm thinkingtwo 360 games a month and the rest i'll save f*** partying i'm done partying, with these many games i wont need to leave the house.

Yeah... I think I'd prefer to work. 500 dollars a month... I couldn't live on that...I mean I could, but I wouldn't want to. I like the comfort of knowing...if I want something, I can have it and work enables that. I'm not saying, I could buy my own plane... but with the interests I have, if I wanted to buy a PS3...I can go out and buy it tomorrow. If I wanted 10 games...I can go out and buy them. Work enables me to do that and it is a fantastic self esteem booster.

Nothing is better than feeling like you've achieved something at the end of the day, rather than sitting onyour butt playing games.

I'm currently not working at all. I'm taking the rest of this year off since I sold my stageplay in August which I'm entitled to do without feeling any guilt because... I'm not living off previous employers or the state. I'm independent and it's a great feeling.
