Ok imagine like a first person NBA 2k, Madden, or MLB. Wouldn't that be sick if you were playing the game from the athletes eyes? I think if someody did it right it would be awesome. Tell me what you think. It may or may not work, but I just thought I would throw it out there.

Interesting idea.

Perhaps for Multiplayer, each individual can be one player of a team against another team with the same concept. In single player, however, the transition of players might be confusing; so they should add third person view available. Fantastic idea though.

Hasn't this been tried before? I thought I remembered playing 1st person on one of the 2K Football games before Madden got sole rights. And my experience with it was not that great to be honest. My idea for sports games is to not charge $60 bucks every year but instead just update the rosters with DLC before each season. Not much is changed each year, well at least not enough to justify charging people $60.

I could have sworn they did that in one of the maddens, and it didn't go over too well.

They did that in the 2k football games...I guess it was okay, but I definitely preferred the normal style of play.

Been Done. NFL 2K5. It took a while to get use to, but once you were use to it, it was actually quite fun.

Yeah, NFL 2K games had that for a couple years and I believe Madden 64 had it too. It wasn't very fun I don't think. Too constricting overall.

I have never played any 2k football games so I wouldn't know. But I don't remember it in any Madden games.

That is a good idea but only if the first person mode is optional. It would suck not being able to see the entire field

I believe a 2k football game or Madden I'm not sure which one had this feature. It was too confusing for me I like it the way it is.

Well as you can tell by the responce 2k already did this, which is why in my book they are superior to EA, but then EA brought the license and that was the end of that. It was done well by the way but just by the nature of the game, I wouldn't say it's not fun but very hard to pull off. In sports you need to see everything that is around you, not just what is in your line of vision. When you played quarterback in 2k a red flash would appear to show you where pressure was coming from. Then you were sacked like 1 sec. after it was shown.lol That was the only downfall though.

Yeah it was done and it was done as well as could be expected. The problem was peripheral vision is so limited and it was slow and cumbersome to try turning the players head to see the field...imho
