I have a head ache, can someone explain this to me (LO related)

ok, right now im in the crimson forest

anyway, im just really confused. ok...so first question:

Kaim is immortal right? so why can he die? or at the very least, why does he seem to get excited during fights if he cant die? is his immorality limited?

Lirium died...so she was not immortal. but that also means Kaim must have had her about 30 years ago, after he gained immortality. not 1000 years ago

gongora said he put a spell on kaim that made him immortal (during the beginning). so does that mean gongora is 1k years old? i thought magic energy didnt start appearing until 30 years prior

kaim's wife sharah, Kaim, Seth, and gongora are all immortal?

gongora took their memories away how long ago? as in, how much of their memory did seth and kaim lose? all but the last few years?

im not supposed to know what gongora had to do with kaim's immortality and memory erasing yet, right? kaim and the gang simply know now that gongora must be evil cause he did "wipe" their minds, right?

he's immortal, like in highlander, he can get killed but he keeps coming back --- plus it's more the idea of defending those around him than himself.

i think gongora siad that he made him immortal to the council, i don't think that he actually did. he was just trying to gain control of the situation.

i'm about 20 hours into the game and as of yet, they haven't specified how much/how long of memories that gongora took, the said that after the 1000 year was up that he decided "something" that he didn't want to fulfill so he took their memories. so basically, it hasn't been that long since they lost their memories

this will be revealed later, the game has great story telling so far... i don't imagine that they would leave you in the dark

during battles if you lose.. he doesn't die.. you just lose the fight. remember back at grand staff when he was struck by magical energy? - kaim can be knocked out.. its less of a death and more of a failure :P

magical energy in the form of industrial use has been a recent achievement.. magical arts on the other hand dates way way back in this game.. i think that was explained in the beginning? dont quote me on that, but the idea is correct ^^

they lost their memory within the last 100 years, as kaim had been serving gongora for about the last 50-60 years as a soldier. the whole gongora casting a spell on kaim to give him immortality was a cover specifically for the council. kaim has always been immortal, it will be explained later. and your exactly right about how much you should know about gongora at this point in the game. you're pretty much on the pinhead, man.
