I have a Microsoft XBOX 360

wasn't sure if this was supposed to be in the broken 360 thread, seems like that thread is more about specific xbox problems. My question is this. If i have a 360 from 2005 and I sent it in for repair does anyone know what they will do? Will they remove the old chip and put in the new one that doesn't rrod (jasper i think its called). Thx

from my own experiences, they rip all of the guts out and replace them. The only thing that seemed to stay the same was the outer case.

I'm getting my 360 back Monday :)

Hope it gets the new parts put inside it.
