Well... I just picked up Halo 3 for $19.95 at bestbuy canada, but Gear 2 is still 59.99 so it really depends on whether or not you are paying for it or if someone else is.
Personally I'd get Gears2 because Halo 3 will only get cheaper and therefore you can simply pick it up any time you want in the near future
ok halo 3 is an easy game to play online, the controls are simple and its not toochallengingto actually kill someone. GOW though is a bit morestrategical and a lot more serious. the graphics are a lot better, the weapons are fun and you can take cover while on halo you have to try and dodge bullets. Plus more people play GOW2. So in my opinion I would get GOW2, halo 3 is the sort of game you play if your **** at FPS because its too easy. hope that helped.
