Can I walk into gamestop with 3 or 4 used 360 gamesand trade for 1 new one that just came put (Halo 3)? And those games I am trading are less than a year old.

You could check CAG wiki, they update with trade in value prices as often as possible. It should give you a rough estimate, just judge by how long ago the price was confirmed and deduct accordingly.
