Yes I did. There is an option to download the Halo 3 beta in the downloads menu, however it says to check back later because its not available yet. Also, there is NO special key, which means there are two different versions of the crackdown disk. It also means that you launch the beta from the crackdown disk itself, which mean you can probably rent it from blockbuster if they happen to get these special copies.

thats pretty awsome, if you had to rate the game "Gamespot Style", what would it be?
I can tell it is going to be a 12 hour game like some of the reviews have stated. The only real sidemissions/minigames are these races against the clock. However, I personally love the game so far. The leveling really adds a great flavor to the mix. Also, considering there is definitely going to be a content update, I am sure the game will be lengthened by that alone. At the end of the day, the game is probably a 8.0. If you are a big fan of these kinds of GTA-style games, BUY IT! if you are not, give it a rent first.
BTW, if you didn't already know there are only 900 available gamerpoints for it at the moment. Apparently the other 100 will be in the free content patch.

First of all I don't have a digital camera, I am a poor college student. Second of all, there are plenty of people here who can vouch that "Al Mehdi" is my gamertag. YOU LUCKY SON OF A GUN!!! THAT DAMN DEMO IS GETTING ON MY NERVES!! Everyone keeps blocking me out!!! But aside from that, how is the leveling up? I noticed in the demo it is accelerated but how is it in the real game? Does it seem nearly impossible to get 2 stars?

It is harder to level up in the full version. I would say the leveling up is exponential, in other words each level is roughly twice as long as the last. In roughly 3 hours I got rank 3 in atheletics; rank 2 in firearms and melee; and still rank 1 in driving and explosives. It really isn't that bad to level up, I think most people will hit rank 4 as they play the game.
There arn't any impossible achievements, in fact, I think this game has some of the best achievements I have seen.
The city is pretty big, however its not as big as the one in Saints Row. No frame rate drop though.
I would give it a 8 due to the length of the game.

Dude! I totally have that game! The Achievements are SICK!!! Sounds like a game where you'd use a Wii You need both hands for control, no doubt. But there's no real controller to speak of.

I doubt it, but the only reason you got 4 stars easy was because the demo had accelerated leveling.
while i dont doubt that you have the game. im starting to think you just downloaded it off a torrent site or newsgroup. i would link to a site to prove that its already out for people who have a modded xbox but i think thats agasint the rules.

lol I bet hes feeling really dumb right now. probably the reason hes keeping quiet
It goes higher than level 4, if you play the demo and do nothing but get orbs you can see that after level 4 is continues to count. However it takes 3 small orbes to get 1 point. So i think it goes up to 5.... or maybe thats just a glitch

I don't know which ones were in the demo, but I do have a rocket launcher now. There is also a grenade launcher. Rocket wasnt in the demo the grendad launcher was, there was also two rifles, sub maching gun two pistols grenades satchels, to my knowlegde
