i have halo3 but i never played the single player campaign

hi guys

i didnt play the single player because i didnt play the past halo games , i donno what to do , i really want to play it but im afraid that im not going to understand anything , what should i do?

should i read the past 2 halo games story or wait till halo1 hits the market place and buy it?

whats your suggestion?

and yeah is it really connected to the past halo games or not?

I played halo 1 but not halo 2. the game is great.

What I found though is parts are more difficult on normal than on ledgendary. while some parts are the other way arround. all up not that hard. 10 - 12 hours in normal mode and about 15max in ledgendary

dude im feeling playing this game without playing the last 2 games is like watching PoC3 without watching the first 2 PoC movies.

but im wondering , reading the story have the same sense of playing the actual game?

For the proper experience, you would want to play them through chronologically. There's many plot details you WILL NOT understand or be confused by, otherwise. It's a large universe and has a deep and riveting story, if you actually pay attention to it.Gregoroth

Don't be cheap, buy the the other 2 games and enjoy.

They are actually really great games you wont regret a thing.

Read the story then play halo 3.

I just beat it last night for the first time and wow! I really enjoyed it the last level was amazing fun!

I did n;t play the games either i just played HAlo 3 and still enjoyed the game.

If to you it is that important the story then either read it or buy the games you are the only one that knows what you would like to ddo.

If you are worried you won;t enjoy the game if u don;t know the story know i did enjoy it vey much even though, as you, i didn;t know what happened before

if you have played all three, you will be more satisfied by its story and level design. there are many things in halo3 that are refering to both halo1 and two. take my word for it, play all 3, pay attention to the story and enjoy.

as I said before, both games are cheap now so you dont have to pay much money for it. and reading about the story wont give you the same feeling.
