Hi everybody in the UK the elite launch date was today and i went at 8 am to pick mine i got pro evo 6 NFS carbon colectors edition and BIO SHOCK plus 2 wirless controllers and rechargable batteries

i have it lying horizontal on a table with about 30cm space behind it the power brick is on another table well ventilated

so i need advice on were to put any fans..oh and i have also opened the window to let some air in

well thats bout it

it should be fine without extra fans, whats the manufacturing date?

Yeah. No reason to worry, Elites don't overheat as far as I know. At least not as easily as the earlier xboxes.

Thanx for quik replies i have also notcied it does not heat up as quikly as my core did (although that never got RROD)
