Yes u can get achivements in ranked,storymode,and Horde. Gears of War gave u stats when u played it what are u talking about. Sorry just dont know what your trying 2 say?

Play for fun - there was a rank system last time but it was menus not avatars and badges etc.

I prefer the current system. I don't like the idea of them changing so much with the game. Hopefully it wont turn long time fans like myself away.
