I just found out about Huxley today!!! This will indeed be the Halo killer!!

I've been interested in Huxley for awhile now.

I've been following the game for some time myself, but honestly, I'm less excited about it now than I once was, it just looks like it's stalling out a bit. 

  Seriously though, why do people make such comments, you have not even known about the game for a full 24 hours, and your flying off the handle about how great it will be?  That's using a deadly combination of stupidity and ignorance.  The game isn't finished, it has no previous game in it's series for credit, it's an iffy and quite different approach to the genre, and you saw a few pictures a vid and read a paragraph or two of info, and it's the next Halo killer? OK. 

  Has anyone else noticed, that every single game that has been dubbed a Halo killer has never even come close to actually even matching Halo, let alone "Killing" it?  Most of them in reality turn out to be horrible failures that aren't even good games on thier own, let alone in comparison to Halo. 

   I say this as not a very big Halo fan, I just get so tired of people knowing next to nothing about a game that isn't even close to finished, and proclaiming it the next Halo killer.

By standards do you mean hype or quality? As for Huxley, it has potential to be a good game but who knows what the status of it is. One minute is was suppose to be the next biggest thing then the next minute it was MIA.
