It's free to have repaired. You'll need to call 1-800-4-My-Xbox in which you will be prompted to go through some steps. You should finally get to talk to a customer support rep and you'll need to tell them information, like where you live and your phone number. They'll tell you what to do then.

Better yet, do it online.

Just sign in with your email, register your 360 (if you haven't done so already) and request a new repair.

They'll send you a box, you send your 360 in it, they repair it, and they send it back free!

Oh, and yes, all shipping is free as well.:)

All the tattle tails, hurry and run to the mods!!!

anyway, i am getting mine back tomorrow. It was received in texas on july 30. so all and all it took about 2-3 weeks to get it back. As was mentioned, it is free, since it is the 3 red lights issue. Microsoft told me that it would be about 4-6 weeks, but luckily i got it back much sooner. hope this helps, and good luck

How many lights?

2 means overheat.

3 means death.

Only try this trick if your warranty is finished.

It works for a couple of days only.:(
