Heh, I spent 110 euro on Viva Pinata: TiP and paying off Gears 2 on Wednesday. I'll probably pay off about 40 euro of Fable II soon and just spend the rest on the release date.

Saints Row 2 is a bad preorder. It looks pretty bad to me in the gameplay videos.

But congrats on the Gears of War 2 and Left 4 Dead. Those should be great

yeah...but some people prefer to get the money(credit/debit card) exchange over with, so that when they have to pick it up (maybe during a big line the day of release) they can just show them a reciept and leave with the game...

but im hands down going for LORD OF THE RINGS CONQUEST

i have cod4, halo3, and nhl 09, which i avidly play already,

but LOTR CONQUEST is my only priority this fall, so what the hell where u thinking with saints row 2?

I dont get it... why do people invest in something that hat has the possibility to flop.

It's better to wait untill the game is realesed and get a feel for reviews, because even if u dont preorder 9 times out of 10 u can just walk into a store and get it on day-1.

i only pre-ordered for Halo3 and GTA 4, they always have enough copies!

it does help that i have 5 gamestops, 4 superwalmarts, and a bunch of toystores and other dept, stores like 3-10 min from my house hahaha but still. :lol:

I have Fallout3, Gears 2, Last Remnant and NBA 2k9 preordered for 360 and Farcry2, Left 4 Dead and Later on Diablo 3 on PC.

Might buy Fable2, Stalker Clearsky (PC), Warhammer (PC) and Star Ocean (360) if they are good to, but i dont have em preordered

It means that he payed the game off so all he has to do on release day is go pick it up.

The thing is, people have already played parts of GEoW2 and L4D and have all said how amazing it is. Chances of a flop is slim.

if you payed $190, you didnt pre-order. You just bought the games in advance. When i "pre-ordered" a game once, i put down like $5 towards the game. then they take the other $45 or whatever when u pick the game up. but $190? thats a lot of $. I thought you had bought a console or something.......

and btw, i NEVER pre-order games anymore. I RENT the first, cuz so many games LOOK cool, but they end up being boring. GTA IV is my prime example. my roomate and i bought it new $60, but yeah we never really play it, the game just isnt that great.... definately WAY OVER rated.

I only put $10 down when I pre-order ... I don't trust EB Games. :P It's not much different than just paying the balance when it actually releases.Aaron89

Some games, however, like Far Cry 2 for example, come with free additional content when you pre-order. I think that's worth it.
