On Sunday I traded my PS3 in for an Elite. Until I get a couple a games I'm not gonna make a valid decision as to which console I like better. But so far there are some qualities on the 360 that the PS3 didn't have which I'm enjoying. In the long run I think this was a good decision for me because frankly, I think PS3 is royaly screwing themselves over in many ways. Not to mention the main reason I went to 360 is that I can finally play Hironabu's games (the original creator of Final Fantasy, which he hasn't been a part of since the joining of Enix) I can't wait to play Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon, plus Gears of War and Dead or Alive 4 are tight! 360 for the win!!!

i was th inking of doing the same...i love the online community, and my LIve account expires late August, so I think I should do the same trade,...and no i would not rather have both because I'm afraid of ignoring one consule over the other...so to prevent that, I'd rather just go with the Elite...by the way, good move!

I had hopes for the PS3 and wanted to support them. I bought Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Resistance: Fall of Man, Virtua Fighter 5, and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. But recent events have made me lose total interest in the PS3 so I let it go...

I hope patience is one of your virtues, cuz FFXIII is probably not gonna come out in America till Q3 - Q4 of 2008. Not to mention a while back, there was an article on Gamespot about Square Enix considering taking away exclusivity for FFXIII on the PS3 and making it multi platform for the 360. But I doubt that'll happen... Atleast I hope not for Playstations sake...

it most likely wont happen. the rumor developed from the fact that Square enix was making a game for 360 and ps3 which i beleive turned out to be the last remenant which also looks pretty damn good anyways and plus im dyign for blue dragon, lost odyssey and mass effect

Couldnt agree more with you bud.This guy made a bad move and he will soon regret doing what he did when he get tired of shooters and ahardcore online community.Unless you replace the ps3 I say that was a bad move bud but since you happy then game on I guess.
I have both systems and there both hella good for different reasons but the 360 is more of a gaming console so I gotta edge with green cuz Halo 3 is gonna rock. Ps3's great games have yet to come. Oh well theres always next year......or maybe 2 years

yea espically to a place like Eb games where you get nothing for your ps3 when you could go to ebay and at least get 300 dollars for it. Plus the elite doesn't have HD so good luck. Any way game on my friend see you online soon

I dont see what was so great about any of E3 this year, we didn't learn anything really great or that was really a surprise (oh yeah we saw killzone 2. sarcasm!). both the PS3 and the 360's conferences were pretty similar at one point at Sony's I though I was watching MS's again there are so many multi-plats this gen. at least we saw what was great for the 360 up tothis Christmas unlike Sony who showed their games that were coming in a year or so.
good move going with the 360 at least you wont have to wait longer than Christmas for half the games shown.

No, I'm not insane. Here, I'll give you some reasons as to why I made this "good" choice:
1. The 360's video game library is much much bigger. (Which is obvious since the 360 has been out for a year and a half) 2. I don't even have a need for the Bluray player because I don't have an HDTV. ( I didn't buy the Elite for the HDMI mind you) 3. I absolutely hate the sixaxis feature, and I really miss the Rumble feature in my controller... 4. There are comparisin pictures all over the internet proving that the 360 has the upper hand in graphics. (The reason why I bring that up is because Sony proclaimed their graphics engine would be superior to the 360's...) 5. The PS3 doesn't even have any titles that would justify buying the console except Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Resistance: Fall of Man, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. 6. XBOX Live is waay better than Playstation Network. XBOX Live is very user friendly, has a good community, and has an easy set up. Sony's "Home" feature won't even compare to XBOX Live because juding from the E3 presentation, it looks way too frustrating and confusing for it be a fun and easy online community. I couldn't even keep with half the **** Phil Harrision was saying during the presentation. ( The whole character customization idea is pointless...) 7. The whole Christmas season you claim which will be good for Sony...won't be so good. Because the only good games that are coming out for PS3 so far is: Infamous, MGS4, Killzone 2, FFXIII, Lair, and Heavenly Sword. More than half of which won't even come out until 2008... So the Christmas season won't do squat for Sony...sorry bud. 8. Sony has already discontinued their 20GB model, and soon to be the 60GB model when all the units sell. After that happens, guess what? Sony is going back to their gouge tastic price tag of $600 for their new "pointless" 80GB model of the PS3... (Probably the dumbest move Sony has made yet... I'll admit that the Elite has a similar background history, but atleast Microsoft didn't shoot themselves in the foot by discontinuing the Core and Premium systems like Sony did to their other models) 9. Like I stated before, there are only 6 reasons as to why you should buy a PS3. But here are alot more reasons as to why I bought a 360: Gears of War, Halo 3, GRAW, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Too Human, Mass Effect, Forza 2, PGR4, Bioshock, DOA4, Fable 2, Perfect Dark, PGR3 and COD2. (15 reasons) Um...yeah, you get the picture.
the ps3 is just getting started this it already has good games coming out for it and next yaer it wil have alot of games and the 360 only has one game that i want and that is not halo 3 it is bioshock and i do own a 360 so i am not a fanboy just the ps3 has more games that i like and i am on my 4 360 wich not cool or fun to deal with so there i think he made a bad decision
