I kno this is a little late but....

Why must console games be a significant 10 dollars more than on the PC!!!! Making videogames 50 dollars would make life so much more enjoyable :P

Because game developers want to provide flame fodder for the hermits on SW. Duh.

Because they have to pass certification of the console makers. PC games don't.
