if you cant tell if you have an hd setup by just looking at the screen then why do you even have hdtv?
Dude, don't worry about people being sarcastic dicks. Apparently they haven't ever said something that other people thought were obvious. It's funny you mention that EA sports games differentiate between that because I noticed the EA/HD thing with Fight Night on my dad's sony HD but didn't notice that it wasn't there on my regular tv. I am getting a sweet 32" tube HDtv here in about a week (they have just as good, if not better, picture than a plasma) so I will soon be loving the fact that my EA Sports FNR3 will now say that on my tv. nickdastick
Ther is no way the worst kind of HD tv(Tube as you call it the real name is crt) has a better picture than a TV that costs ten times as much that is just stupid. Plasma and LCd have the best picture that is a fact and that is why they cost so much.

I really hope you're kidding. Most people still agree that CRTs offer the best picture quality. Plasmas have only JUST begun to catch up with them, and LCDs are still a bit behind plasmas. The reason that plasmas and LCDs cost more is because they tend to be more expensive to produce not because they offer better picture quality but because their components are more expensive. But even that isn't the case anymore, seeing as you can find 32in LCDs for the same price or less than a 30in CRT. Case in point, my 32in olevia LCD was purchased from circuit city for 475 this past black friday.[QUOTE="nickdastick"]Dude, don't worry about people being sarcastic dicks. CRT's still offer the best picture by far. The reason they are so cheap is coz of the goddamn size. HUGE!!! But the pictures especially the blacks, rock!![QUOTE="nickdastick"]Dude, don't worry about people being sarcastic dicks. So you're 100% convinced that because an LCD costs more the picture is better? Man, you're a sales persons dream come true.... CRTs have the best picture, period. LCDs and Plasmas are more expensive becasue they are a product of convenience and are reletively new tech.Dude, don't worry about people being sarcastic dicks.
