I love hate MW2

i hate all the racist people, little kids, MLG "im better than you"butt buddies.i also hate the new health system where every time you get shot, the cool aid man splashes some hawaiin punch on your face. i especiallly hate all the hackers with modded controlers. but what i hate the most is giving activision all this money.

but at the same time i love IW games. the last MW was kick ass. the multiplayer was one of the best multiplayers iv played in a while. the campaign was heartpounding, and the graphics everyonce in a while tricked my eyes that the abandon street was real even if only for a second.

anyone else feel like this? i will be getting this game even if it means missing out on L4D2 and AC2.

Well I hate racist people in general, not just in my games. I'm also a little pissed that the campaign is on 5 hrs long. The first game was 7 hrs long & the average length of a FPS campaign last gen was 8 hrs.

Can you tell me if I shoot someone with a .50 cal sniper rifle in the foot will they die?

Playing on Hardened or Veteran should lengthen it a bit... 4 hours seems pretty exagerrated to me.

Oh well, 95% of my time on this game will be multiplayer. I'll play through the campaign maybe twice, once for achievements and second just for fun.

i would go through the campaign 1st, and a 2nd time for achievements, then MP and spec-ops, i would spend 60 for just mp if it was a MP i really really like and wouldn't get bored of for example CS, would never get bored of that lol

Well I guess I would just disable them through my TV too. I only talk / listen when I'm playing with friends, otherwise I get too irritated.

I have it set so chat comes through TV because I use Turtle Beaches, otherwise I wouldn't hear chat for when I do use it.

There was a post about the length of the game in the MW2 forums. It took most people about 7 hours to complete on hard. So veteran will maybe give you an extra hour or two. Not to bad...

I agree with that! I get more fun from Modern Warfare's MP (and hopefully the second one) than some entire games that I've purchased.
