I loved it so much that I completed it in one session as soon as it was free on steam and bought the orange box straight after on 360.

BUT..

How are they making it into a full game? However much I loved it I can't imagine it lasting a full 10+ hours. After all it is a repetitive puzzle game. Surely it should have been a brilliant game stored in an everlasting archive. Am i really missing the point here? (I sincerely hope I am)

Also, surely, they have shot themselves in the foot by making it the 'best' on that ghastly sony console? Not many people can come back after Valve's awful Orange box port?

I agree it might be hard to stretch it into a full $60 game on the console. It would've been a great idea to include with possibly a console-updated TF2 (yes PC is still the best), or even L4D2, as so many people thought L4D2 was pretty much just an expansion anyways. Blue Box?

there are plenty of full blown Puzzle games out there. They just need to add some other elements to it. I am sure they have a lot of games to draw from if not their own ideas.

Also, they have decided to make the game from scratch on PS3 so it will not be a port this time. That alone will get people intrested in the PS3 game, and stating that it is the best game console wise on PS3 will help people give it another try. So I do not think they shot themselves in the foot with that move.

The only way I can see it working is if they make the puzzles much larger and give them more variety.

I hope they have at least one HUGE sandbox type map to just play around on. I love flying high and far through a portal.

It was entertaining to play through once but it was also the weakest link of the Orange Box.
