Some of you might know I posted a thread regarding my 360 yesterday, but I have just one little question. My (premium) 360 is now dead, I cannot repair it cause I opened up the 360 and I need a new one. I'm not getting an elite because I don't need those "extra" features. I planned on getting a core since I still have my HD, wireless controller, and the HD/AV cables. My question is I can still use the HD/AV cable on the core right?

And I hope the core isn't downgraded, hardware wise.

As far as I know you still can.  Why don't you try and sell you 360 to ebgames and just use the credit to buy a core?  It's worth a shot.

I planned on doing that, but I think I shouldn't buy the core the same day then, cause then they will wonder why I sold them a premium and went for the core.

two options buddy

1. sell the broken box on ebay, i saw an opened box, with just the console go for 200 AUD(bout 180 usd)

2. do what my friend did. his ps2 broke and traded it into ebgames and he paid $100 and they gave him a slimline.

hope this helps

Actually try GameStop, I'm pretty sure they take in "broken" or "defective" systems and then give you in store credit for something else...

that's a great idea, so long as you're lacking in moral fibre.
