This is soo fustrating, whenever someone gets ona computer and just opens a browser, Xbox Live lags like crazy!!

If there are any other people with Xbox Live that have people in their house getting on a computer, how in the WORLD do you get it to not lag??

I've searched, I've joined tons of forums, made 5 other threads on this site to find a solution, but no one has been able to help me!! They just tell them to kick em' off!

I thought this was 2008, not 1994 online capabilities. But I guess I'll have to wait a decade until one day, I will be able to get online without any lag!!!!

When I play splitscreen it's like heaven... I can actually walk and shoot other people without any disturbances!!!!!

I run multiple PCs and 360s with no lag.. you probably just need to get a better connection.

wsell muti reasons try puting your ethernet cable in a different slot in the modem.

youir modem code be preety old and dont tranfer alot power

your connetion sucks

could be like cable idk if you know or not but if you have like 6 tv or something in your house one is gonna get the less power from the cable(thats how its in my house when we have them going theres always one got less power and it makes the picture blary

so ya maby get your parants call your internet company and see what they can do because microsft has no power over that

HERE's A HUGE POTENTIAL PROBLEM...

I didn't even think about this before because it's pretty unusual now days, but...

Are you using a switch or hub in the network? If you are using a hub instead of a switch or plugging directly into the router (which has a built in switch) it will cause lag the more systems that are connected at a time.

Just a thought - if you have a hub - swap it out for a switch.

I dunno, I have 100mb/s and when I use the net on my laptop I do lag a little. I use a Wireless-N router with a good connection. I think it's just my ISP limiting connections per source or something.

You are not alone my friend.

My sister streams videos while I'm on Live. That just kills your connection.
