By examining the context of your sentence, I can say that you don't have NHL 08, so how can you possibly say anything about it. IMO, NHL 08 is the best hockey game I've ever played. It may not have the depth of the franchise mode like 2k series, but I don't want a game where I play GM and and sim games, I want to actually play the game and have fun doing so. 2K8 attempted to imitate the skill stick feature that EA brought in last year, but they failed miserably. To answer your question, if you enjoy hockey games, then you owe it to yourself to buy this game, it's only $60. BTW, what car are you planning on purchasing?
