I need help getting 3 red rings.

I have a launch 360 that needs an extra push to get 3 red rings, it constantly overheats and gets two, but I can't score the lucky third one.

Any suggestions?

^^^ he just told u why and he only has a 3 year warranty with a 3 lights.

first have u ever sent your ssytem in yet? because every system that was made befor 2006 has a free repair on it's head call an ask

2 just wrap up in towl and kill it=. if it dont work just call an say u have 3 lights it is not uncommonfor a system to get lights then work perfect next day and microsoft knows that

and in a way i dont think the repair shops cheak them they cheak to see if its modded or any damaged caused to it by u vs there fualt

Well I purchased it On New Years Eve 2005. So I'll call and see about that free repair, if not, I'll deal with it.

I assume the number is on the Microsoft site?

I would have to recommend against wrapping it in towels. I tried to do that (Mine 1 ringed) and it was probably about 10 minutes away from catching fire.

Seriously, this thing was extremely hot. If it didn't rrod from that, nothing was going to make it.
